North Tyneside Music Education Hub

Georgia and Andrew tragically lost their young lives following a motorbike crash on 28th July. Many will have seen Andrew as the front man of Dire Straits Tribute Band The Straits UK.

However, Georgia too had a beautiful voice and was one half of a duet with Andrew called 'Love Over Gold.' Georgia also worked with an organisation called 'North Tyneside Music Education Hub.' Their purpose is to provide children and young people in North Tyneside with an inclusive range of high quality, accessible music opportunities and experiences. Andrew would also work with Georgia organising and playing together for special events at the Hub.

This is a very worth while cause and indeed one of Georgia's 12 year old students supported The Straits UK during one of their performances in Northumberland last year.

Anyone that wishes to donate to this worthy cause can do so instead of buying flowers. Please don't feel obliged and there is no pressure to do so but any donations will be gratefully received.

Both Georgia and Andrew will be missed by many and we hope their legacy can live on through helping others to achieve.
