Norwalk Firefighter Saris

It is with deepest regret and sorrow that we report the line-of-duty

death of Firefighter Craig A. Saris, IAFF 3rd District Local 830,

Norwalk, Connecticut.

Brother Saris, 52, passed away on February 6,

2023, after succumbing to an occupational cancer.

Craig was a Norwalk firefighter for over 25 years well known for his bravery and strength, earning two unit citations during his career. He worked just as hard on the outside as a painter and landscaper.

Craig leaves behind his wife and 8 year old twins who meant everything to him. Local 830 is asking for donations that will be used to fund a education account on their behalf.
