Not for Profit animal rescue farm

Santamour Rescue is a new federally licensed Not for Profit animal rescue farm located in Northern NY. Our Mission is to provide the best life for miss-treated / neglected farm animals or to provide the best end of life for animals who would otherwise be terminated.

Since its inception in Q1 2022, we now have 18 animals under our care. Some of which simply needed a new home. Others have been mistreated.

As we are a brand new 501C organization our needs are currently extensive. The operating cost for 2022 was 100% funded by a private donation.

Our forward-looking business strategy is different than most Not for Profits, we are focused on generating an income stream that would allow us to be sustainable in future years without continuing donations. In Q2-Q3 2022 we trailed planting and harvesting pumpkins in an attempt to offset feed and operating costs. This trial run allowed us to offset 30% of our feed cost. With the success of our initial trial, we have plans to expand operations by 4X. To support this increase, our current fundraising efforts are aimed at purchasing equipment upgrades to make this a reality. This will allow us to increase the size of our supporting crop. And create a sustainable means of fundraising. Any support we can obtain for those animals in need is appreciated.
