Not goodbye but see you later: Autopsy and funeral costs

My name is Heather and I am Makayla's step-mom. I am starting this for Makayla to help with the impossible costs of an autopsy and funeral expenses. No one wants to say goodbye to their best friend and father of their 2 year old daughter, to then worry about expenses on top of everything that adds to the heart wrenching devastation Makayla is going through. They just started their life and family and it's been taken from them at such a young age.

Makayla's husband, Cody was admitted to the hospital in April of 2024. He has not been home since. He suffered multiple health events that resulted in his passing today, January 12th 2025. Cody and Makayla have a two year old daughter who will forever miss her daddy. He is gone before she even had a real chance to have a memory of her daddy. Cody was a great man, wonderful daddy and amazing husband who just wanted to come home to his family. He fought long and hard all the way up to the end. He is truly missed by all.
