On a seemingly ordinary day, June 20, 2023, at the Double Tree in Norwalk, CA, Shaun found himself contemplating a playful yet profound thought: if Amber were dressed like him, it would be a divine sign she was meant to be his wife. This wasn't a baseless wish but a prayer for confirmation, intertwining with the deep love he already harbored for her. When he saw Amber, mirroring his white button-up shirt and black pants, it struck him with joyful astonishment. It was more than just matching outfits; it was God's affirmation of their destined union. In that moment, Shaun's heart solidified its resolve to pursue Amber, embracing the challenges ahead, fortified by the belief in their shared future.

Shaun's Love for Amber

I never quite believed in fairy-tale romances until I met Amber. Our love ignited from a shared passion for ministry and a deep devotion to God. On our first date, Amber's prayer revealed her profound spirituality and commitment to God, which captivated me. We embarked on a journey together, starting a campus ministry from scratch, witnessing miracles, and baptizing many. My admiration for Amber grew as I saw her dedication as a missionary in Toronto and her natural leadership. To me, she is not just my partner but a beacon of love, guiding (inspiring) me towards heaven. Our shared dream is to lead a church, spreading the gospel's message of hope & love.

Amber’s love for Shaun

I was focused on the ministry and my family, certainly not falling in love. Buuuuut there I was, sitting across the table from my coworker, thinking, I could date this man forever….even with his dad jokes! Shaun was one of God's unexpected gifts. He was warm, passionate, kind, and casually HILARIOUS! But above all, he lived out his relationship with God, extracting all of the awe and wonder he could, out of life. These were the attributes that drew me to him, and inspired me in my own relationship with God. Shaun and I were two people who weren’t looking for each other, but when we found each other, realized that we were looking for each other….shocking the both of us!! But after a few months, the connection was undeniable, God had other plans; and now we’re getting married.

Our Shared Dream

Together, Shaun and Amber are stepping into marriage with a vision that extends beyond their wedding day on May 10, 2024. They're embarking on a lifetime of ministry, aiming to spread the gospel's message of hope and love. However, to make this dream a reality, they need your support. They are raising $12,000 to cover their modest wedding, secure an apartment for their new life together, and fund a honeymoon to give them some precious moments of gratitude and preparation for the journey ahead.
