Stampify #NotALONEChallenge supporting ALONE

Donation protected
Ireland is going through unprecedented times at the moment. This means putting our country first by self-isolating as much as possible to contain the spread of COVID-19. A consequence of this is reduced time spent with friends and family, which is a problem particularly for the elderly who are cocooning at this time.

Traditionally Stampify provides meals to children in their place of education in the developing world. With the pandemic our country is facing at the moment, our team wanted to bring some of the impact we have to Ireland and raise money for the most vulnerable here.

We have created the #NotALONEChallenge as we want to give people an opportunity to share some of their favourite memories of times spent with friends and family, while also supporting older people who are experiencing loneliness during this time.

For this fundraiser we have partnered with ALONE, who are Ireland's leading charity in support of older people. All money raised will be donated to ALONE, and will be used to support the elderly through their day-to-day services as well as their COVID-19 specific response projects.

To complete the #NotALONEChallenge:

1. Share your favourite throwback from your Instagram  archive to your story using #NotALONEChallenge

2. Support ALONE at gofundme.com/f/notalonechallenge  to help members of the elderly experiencing isolation during this difficult time

3. Share a screenshot of your donation and tag 3 friends to nominate them to complete the challenge

Thank you for your support.

Know of someone who ALONE could help?
"As a member organisation of the National Public Health Emergency COVID-19 Subgroup for Vulnerable People, ALONE is working in collaboration with the Department of Health and the HSE on a coordinated national response to support older people who have concerns, may be at risk or who have contracted COVID-19.

ALONE is encouraging older people who need advice to call their helpline, 0818 222 024 from 8am-8pm, seven days a week. The helpline, which is running in collaboration with the Department of Health and the HSE, is available to all older people including those who have not used ALONE’s services previously. The support line is designed to complement the clinical advice and information being provided by the HSE through its website and helpline. Older people who are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 are advised to call their GP.

Contact ALONE on 0818 222 024 if you have concerns about your own wellbeing, or the wellbeing of an older person you know. Further information can be found on www.alone.ie."
