Notie Pate Memorial Fund

Hi, my name is Corrie Stone-Fielder and I’m trying to help the Pate family raise money to help with final expenses for their beloved patriarch, Notie, who passed away on October 17, 2023.

Notie was a local Aggie legend, playing for the NMSU men’s basketball team in the mid-70’s. After graduation, he and his wife, Cindy, decided to stay in Las Cruces to raise their family. Cindy was diagnosed with a debilitating health condition several years ago and Notie worked for a local commercial real estate company until his retirement in March 2023.

Unfortunately, they lost their son, Brandon, in 2021 and were still grieving that loss when Notie became ill in September 2023. After weeks of prayer and hope, we lost Notie before a life insurance policy could be purchased.

It is very difficult to ask for financial assistance, but Cindy cannot work and will need help paying the medical bills and funeral expenses. We know that everyone is struggling these days, but any small amount will be deeply appreciated. Please help if you can.
