Help Notorious Ed get a car

My name is Edward Potter, but most everybody knows me as " Notorious Ed". I have been a Tattooist for the better part of 50 years, & a Master Tattooist for what was possibly the world's largest Tattoo Apprenticeship Programs for the last 25 years. During this time I probably worked with several hundred Apprentices, most of whom, for several reasons, are no longer tattooing. (Professional Tattooing is NOT for Everyone), but I did, in fact, create more than a few very Talented, & Successful Professional Tattoo Artists.
Several years ago, I was diagnosed with Extreme Hypertension, for which I have been on several different Medications, (some of which had some rather serious, & unpleasant side affects), but am now on a new Medication that is taking care of it with No appreciable side affects. About 5 years ago, I began to have problems with Degenerative Arthritis, compounded by several previous Orthopedic Injuries to my Hands, which caused me to lose some of the Flexibility in my Hands, & caused me to have to Cease to Tattoo on the General Population in the Studio.
In January of 2015, the Apprenticeship Program was Cancelled, leaving me without a Job, (the Relationship with my Partner of 25 years steadilyDeclined, until October of 2015, when I was summarily told to leave). During that same month, (Oct '15), my Car Died, leavimg me with No Transportation.
I have since been Invited to Attend several Tattoo Conventions, as well as been offered several Guest Artist Spots at Tattoo Studios in Austin, San Marcos, San Antonio, & Houston, as well as one here in Bryan, Texas. The Problem is that without Transportation, (a Car), I can't get myself, & my Equipment to the Gigs. That is why I am asking for Help from my Ex Apprentices, & any other Friends in the Tattoo Community to help me to get a Used Car, ($2500 -$4000).
