Nou Lee Vang’s Funeral

My mother was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer on Oct 2019. Months went by and my mom had decided to go through with chemotherapy at Mayo Clinic on May 2020. She was on chemotherapy for a whole year. On June 2021 my mom decided to stop chemotherapy because the doctors had said that the chemo treatment wasn’t helping her anymore. There was nothing else left that the doctors could do. They gave us the option of keeping my mom at the hospital to monitor her, or bring her home and have her on hospice care. Therefore, my mom decided to be on Hospice care on January 2022. During her time on hospice care, she became weaker and weaker each day. She couldn’t eat much and had a hard time digesting her food due to her pancreatic cancer. She lived her life as long as she could until her last breath and lost her battle to cancer on May 19. My mom was a lovely mother and wife. She was a brave and strong women who tried her best to fight against cancer. Although she may have lost her life to cancer, my mom will always be in our hearts.
