Nova Eisenhower Engineering Club to Iowa

Donation protected
Exciting news!! Nova Eisenhower Engineering Club received an invitation to attend the CREATE US Open Robotics Championship in Iowa based on our participation and performance in past events. Eisenhower Engineering is the only elementary school, out of 138 elementaries in Broward County to have been invited to this national competition.

Engineering ingenuity and facilitative use of technology are what bring changes to our world. Inspiring young students, including girls, to pursue STEM begins in extracurricular clubs such as Nova Eisenhower Engineering. Our goal with Eisenhower Engineering is to give students of all backgrounds relevant hands on experiences that will encourage them to pursue STEM related fields in the future.

Since this is our first invitation to compete out of State, we believe that this is an opportunity for the kids to learn more and to demonstrate the skills that they’ve learned so far. We have 16 students participating in this competition so our goal is to raise $10,000 to cover for kids uniform, some travel expenses and meals while in Iowa.

On behalf of our amazing students and families, we truly appreciate your support.
