Nova Scotia Family of 3- Emily Tuck, Aaron &Jolene

Donation protected
My sister, Jolene Oliver, 39, my niece Emily Tuck, 17  and brother in law, Aaron (Friar) Tuck, 45  were all killed in their home during the Nova Scotia Shooting on April 18th/19th.
Bonnie Oliver is managing the funds of this account along with input from our family.

It has been one month since the tragic event in Nova Scotia took place and we wanted to thank everyone for their support and generosity towards Emily, Jolene and Aaron.  The funds that have been received is more then we could have ever imagined and we want everyone who donated to know where these funds are going and will be allocated.  Although not all the details are yet finalized, we have been in contact with CEC (Cobequid Educational Centre) to set up a Bursary in Emily’s name.  We will also be reaching out to NSCC (Nova Scotia Community College), SAIT (Southern Alberta Institute of Technology) and NAIT (Northern Alberta Institute of Technology) to assist with programs for young girls entering into the trades.

In addition to contributing to these schools and programs we will also be donating to the local Food Banks in the areas where Jolene and Aaron lived.

At this time our expenses have been minimal due to the generosity of Colchester County and other members of the community that have donate their time and/or services, thus allowing us to put these funds back into the communities that supported them.
