Help NOVELLA go to the 2024 World Rowing Championships

Hi, My name is Jen and I want to tell you about my best friend, Terra, and her daughter, Novella. I met Terra on the first day of grade one and we've been friends ever since.

At 17 years old, Novella is the only returning female rower for Team Canada this year for the U19 World Rowing Championships. Last year, she got to row at the Olympic venue in Paris and her boat placed 9th in the world for her event!

This year,the Jr World Championships are in St. Catharines, Ontario and she is sitting in the stroke seat for the Junior Women's 8+ (JW8+).

Here's where I ask for your help! She is from British Columbia but has had to stay in Ontario to train since June. From, flights, billeting training expenses and entry fees, this one competition will cost her family $6,500. Her parents happily sacrifice whatever can in order to support their kids athletic endeavors. They work overtime and constantly fundraise to send both their kids across the country (or around the world) to compete, often without being able to go themselves to watch and support their kids.

PLEASE, consider supporting Novella. Without help like this, from people like you, promising young athletes like Novella can't compete in events like this and represent Canada on the world stage.
