OneThread Apparel #Purplestrong “Hope” Campaign to Help Special Needs Family
Shortly after birth, Kate and I noticed our son, Arlo, making “hiccuping” movements. At five months old, Arlo was diagnosed with an extremely rare case of childhood epilepsy. His seizures in combination with a genetic mutation have left our son developmentally disabled.
Arlo’s condition has affected every aspect of our lives, but we are hardly alone. This November for Epilepsy Awareness Month we want to raise money to help other special needs families. I created the “Hope” #PurpleStrong T-shirt with my small business OneThread Apparel, and all proceeds will go to families who have a child battling epilepsy. Please watch our message of hope and consider purchasing a shirt at www.onethreadapparel.com or simply donating.
