Adrienne Hutch Brain Tumor Removal

After many years of being told Adrienne was a “medical mystery” and that she’s like an albino unicorn that lives in Africa she has finally been provided an answer on what is causing all of this. She was diagnosed with a cranial nerve schwannoma but is now being told that it is actually likely in her facial nerve. It is only 5mm but it is fierce. It thankfully is benign and is very slow growing except now it is affecting her in so many ways: seizures, facial spasms, migraines, spontaneous hearing loss in her right ear, constant ringing, dizziness, clumsiness (more than her norm ), and tingling hands and feet.

She’s a lucky girl since they finally found it ☘️ and with them catching it before it grows amd causes more issues. 

Her medical expenses have piled up with the huge amount of specialist visits, testing, meds, and imaging to finally get the answer. Her out of pocket deductible is shockingly high. Every day there is something new but she appreciates so much that her care team is working hard to pin point every detail to give her the best options for getting rid of Clover. 

It’s overwhelming but this surgery is going to have to happen soon due to the severity of her symptoms and their quick onset. It will done by a neuro ENT and a neurosurgeon or possibly gamma knife radiation from a radiation oncologist. 

She gives her all … her heart and soul in all that she does. She is so thankful that she has an answer but we know that she is not able to meet all of these financial obligations. Yes, she has insurance but wow the out of pocket deductible is quite large. On top of that she may have to be out of work up to 3 months and having to have other procedures done leading to more time out. 

She named her tumor Clover for good luck but it’s time for little Clover to be removed from her cozy little spot that she has buried in her brain so Adrienne can get back to her normal unicorn magical self again!
