Supporting Jessica Through Cancer

We are coming together, as family and friends, to support Jessica on her journey of healing. She has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer and we are joining forces to support her during her fight and recovery. 

Those of you, close to her, may know that this is not the first time this devastating diagnosis has touched Jess and her family. She lost her mother, Martha, to breast cancer in elementary school and her grandmother, Mita, to ovarian cancer in high school. 

Jess is a young, vibrant, preschool teacher and newlywed who is a bright light to everyone in her life. She has an amazing emotional support system to fight alongside her, including her loving husband, family and friends. 

Unfortunately the timing of this diagnosis and her treatment plan mean that she is unable to work at this time. We are asking for your help to provide Jess with the financial support she will need during her fight. All funds donated will go directly to Jessica to assist with household needs while she is unable to work, as well as the medical expenses that will arise during the course of her treatment.

At this point in time, she will be starting chemotherapy on Monday, September 23rd. This will continue the next 6 months. It will be followed by a double mastectomy and reconstructive surgery. Jessica's prognosis is good and she has what it takes to beat this thing!
