Help Mike and His Family

On March 30th, one day before his 55th birthday, Mike was rushed to St. Luke Hospital.
After countless tests and stressful days, it was determined that Mike was in septic shock and his organs were shutting down due to a staph infection ravaging his body.
It took over a week to stabilize Mike to be able to get an MRI and determine the location of the infection. On April 6th, Mike was taken in for emergency surgery where part of his spine was removed. This ended up being life saving surgery and he has since been fever free and more stable.
Thank God, on April 10th, Mike finally woke up!
The road to recovery will be long. Any financial and emotional support we can provide the family during this trying time will go a long way.
Mike is a devoted husband and father. His elder son is Jakob, who will be graduating high school this year and going to college in the fall. His younger son is Tucker, who is completing the 8th grade and will be starting high school in the fall.
Mike is a Boy Scout Leader to his younger son’s troop. He enjoys playing D&D with his work colleagues. He loves making silly videos with his sons. He is an avid reader who often finishes books cover to cover in two days.
Mike loves to experience life, and is one of the most optimistic and kind people you will ever meet.
