Help Needed for Cancer Care

Hi, I'm Ashley, I am Michael Tramonte's daughter. I am starting this gofundme to help my mom be able to care for my dad's medical needs. He has had a tough few years having 3 major surgeries one of which was his kidney removal last March. Since that time he had a very hard time with dizziness, and syncope which has led to many admissions to the hospital due to falls. He had to stop working early in 2023 due to these symptoms. Leaving a job he loved at First Student as a bus driver for town of Duxbury. Fast forward to now, we had become very worried for his safety as he was having severe pain in his lower back, which we thought was due to his spine. He was very uncomfortable so he was admitted for pain control at South Shore Hospital. One day later we found out he had Retroperitoneal Cancer with Mets. He is requiring around-the-clock care and pain medications. There unfortunately are no treatment options at this time other than keeping him pain-free. He cannot come home due to his pain control needs. In order to help my mom since he's been without any pay for a year now and she has had to use all the money in their savings to get us through this long year without his salary. We are also facing having to private pay for some of my dad's medical needs, so he can get the best care possible. He has always been there for others, whether it was his years of police work for the Town Marshfield, Plymouth County Sheriff's Department, or as a Duxbury school bus driver. So asking for help was the last thing we wanted to have to do. Update: My Dad was moved into a Hospice Facility Friday.
