James Peter Johnson (Jim)

Hi myself Margaret and Jill, friends of Carol. We are setting up a Go Fund Me Account for Carol Johnson who lost her husband unexpectedly on 14th June 2024.

James Peter Johnson (Jim) left behind his wife Carol, Daughter Isabella 12, twins Oliver and Charlotte 8.

James was in the process of renovating the family home to accommodate his family comfortably. If you know Carol and her amazing story, then you would know that she is dealing with her own health struggles being diagnosed with MS since 2010.

James was literally the families rock- his comfort and support will be sadly missed. He was also the family’s financial support. As you can only imagine Carol has a lot going on. There are a ton of expenses that need to be covered including a large mortgage. There is no life insurance policy.

The family is understandably shocked by this loss and unfortunately not prepared for all that is happening at this time. Losing a loved one is always difficult, but coping with a sudden loss adds a different element to the grieving process. It doesn’t follow a pattern and there’s often a lack of closure. There are also added financial stressors, such as the cost of planning a funeral and the loss of a spouse’s income to pay for household expenses.

We’d like to show our support to Carol and her family during this difficult time by helping them cover unexpected costs due to this sudden tragedy. Importantly keeping the children together in the warm supportive community that they know after adjusting to losing their dad. It is a lot for all the family to cope with at this sad time. Anything you can do to help Carol and her family during this time of heartbreak is greatly appreciated.
