Appeal to save Laxman from Multiple Myeloma

Appeal from Laxman's wife:
I'm Yashoda, and I'm currently fundraising for my husband's cancer treatment.
Our journey in Australia began in 2020 on a student visa with dreams and hope for brighter future. Life was running smoothly with our six-month-old baby. However, our lives took an unexpected turn when my husband started experiencing severe back pain. Initially, we denied it thinking it as typical back discomfort, but it progressively worsened. He was admitted to the hospital, where a series of tests were conducted because his condition was hard to detect. Finally, the diagnosis came - Multiple Myeloma, a type of blood cancer. Our world came crashing down, and we were devastated by the news.
We gathered our strength and started the treatment. The cost of medical care in Australia is notably high, and we're already two months into the treatment journey. Since we're on a temporary visa, many aspects of the treatment expenses aren't covered by insurance and we are not able to afford the treatment. Consequently, we find ourselves in a very difficult financial situation, desperately needing support to ensure my husband can continue his treatment.
In our time of difficulty, any contribution, no matter how small, would be extremely valuable in aiding my husband's recovery. Your support isn’t just a donation, it's a gift of life, a chance for my husband to see our baby grow, and to continue our journey together. Please consider sharing our story, your compassion and generosity can bring light to our darkest days. Thank you for reading our story and being part of our fight against this disease.
With heartfelt thanks,
Yashoda and Laxman
