Help Terry Start Anew

Hello, my name is Andrea and I was trying to figure out the best way to support one of the most giving individuals that I have ever met. Terry Crenshaw, or Chef as my family calls her, suffered a devastating fire at her home in the early morning of December 31st. In a year that has already been overwhelmed with challenges, her year ended with the loss of her home. The home that she has opened to so many people from friends and family to foreign exchange students and struggling youth. Many of you reading this already know the impact Terry has had on your life. She has had one on mine and we are one of many! After the fire, I was able to go to her home with my son to help pack up a few things she needed. As we were sifting through piles of rubble and salvaging important items, I have never seen someone so positive and optimistic after experiencing this kind of devastation. There is damage not only from the fire, but the smoke and water damage is throughout the home. It's a total loss. Although she is strong, positive, and can be stubborn (in a good way)...it is time to come together and support Terry. I hope we can raise some money to help her get started with the rebuild or just enough to help out in any way that we can. I try to remind her that she is always taking care of everyone else and needs to take care of herself, too. This time WE need to take care of her.
