Logan’s surgery

Hi,

I am a coach for an u10s football team and one of my players has had a very unfortunate accident playing football (not at our training) and broken his collar bone. It’s a really bad break and he has some nerve damage as well so they aren’t willing to operate due to concern the nerve damage could be made worse by going in.

So the hospital have suggested a specialist type of brace to be fitted BUT unfortunately the NHS WON’T cover the costs so Hannah (Logan’s mum) is now having to foot the cost and unfortunately (like most of us) she doesn’t have that sort of money sitting around.

Hannah is investigating what options she has to try and claim the costs from the coach who was doing the training BUT time is of the essence and they have said the brace needs to be fitted within the week of his accident to give Logan the best possible chance of a full recovery.

So this is where we need your help. If anyone can please donate any money at all towards the costs which are estimated at £1000, just for the brace, we truly will be eternally grateful. This doesn’t include any rehab or physio that he is likely to need so would like to raise as much as we can to ensure Hannah can make sure he gets the best possible care

The reason I have set up the go fund me and not Hannah is purely because I want to help a mother in need who has enough on her plate to deal with and I want to take away just one of her worries. Please help if you can
