Supporting the children of SOFCEO, Uganda
Donation protected
The 39 Children of Shield Of Faith Community Empowerment Organisation are in need for your help.
SOFCEO is a young Ugandan NGO based in the village of Naminya along the Nile at Lake Victoria.
SOFCEO has been created and managed by two strong wholehearted men, John Luyima and Sulaiman Kaweesi, both from Naminya.
They are dedicated to doing their best to provide for the basics and rights for the children, from food to shelter, from school fees to clothing.
Today we are asking for your support while the organisation is steadily reinforcing what's in place, and find solid grounds to be sustainable.
We are aiming to reach ca$10 000 ( us$7 300, or 6 460 euro) in the next month, in April.
This amount will allow the children to go to school until end of the year, and to keep their stomach full and their mind focus to success.
We'll be able to purchase proper school shoes to make them feel anchored in their education and walk surely towards their own dreams.
We'll be able to provide for medical attention and cover unexpected cases. Malaria indeed is endemic in this tropical area.
This fundraiser will also assure us a continuity in our status and cover for the NGO licence renewal.
Thank you very much for your help, your support, your sharing.
Be assure that this money goes directly towards the children needs, and towards the organisation existence. That's it. All Directors and members are volunteers.
If you have questions, do not hesitate to send them to contact us.
