Hurricane Disaster

We are Sergio and Thaina, the owners of Blueberries Café and Wine, in Holmes Beach, Florida! From 3 years ago.

What happened (Hurricane Helene) on our beautiful Anna Maria Island. Is devastating, and unfortunately, we did receive extensive damages too.

We had water and mud everywhere and We lost All our inventory and our equipment are damaged.

We are a small store running for my husband and me, We have worked very hard to create and offer a healthy food business for our customers on the island but we don’t have unlimited funds.

The only help that the state and federal governments give us are loans that would drown us even more with more debt without the possibility of continuing with a business that feeds our family and can move forward.

For this reason we are using this platform to ask for help from our community, loyal customers and anyone who understands this unfortunate situation.

Every little bit helps, and we will be extremely grateful for any support we can get.
