NU Mutual Aid
Northeastern Mutual Aid is a student network dedicated to the well-being of the Northeastern community during the COVID-19 pandemic. With help from our community, we aim to fill the gaps in support that students need during this difficult time. *Please note that we are not a recognized club through Northeastern.*
Using examples set forth by universities in March, we are determining the most effective ways mutual aid can serve Northeastern’s population. We aim to work with all members of the community and organize to meet each other’s needs.
We are collecting funds for various initiatives including mask distribution, obtaining non-perishables food items for the food pantry, and offering financial assistance to students for transportation, winter coats, school supplies, etc. Please visit our website numutualaid.org to learn more.
We would also greatly appreciate if you could help out the organization, Fair Foods, that supplies our food pantries. They really need volunteers to help with their initiatives. Please visit http://www.fairfoods.org/index.php?page=volunteer.htm to learn more.
