Help Become A Part Of Lake Ronkonkoma History
Donation protected
This tree is 30 feet high and 25 feet around at the base. It will take over a year to complete... Please help us create Lake Ronkonkoma History. Your help is needed to cover some of the expenses with the creation of an historic landmark at Lake Ronkonkoma.
The Princess Ronkonkoma Statue will be designed & carved from a 30 foot tall Beechwood tree brought over from England over 200 years ago. The massive tree died in 2016 and it's being presevered on our community's rich, historic land.
This project is projected to cost about $5,000 plus countless hours of volunteer time from many in the community. Saws, chains & blades, scaffolding & wood planks and much more is required to complete it. Once done, it will be a permanent landmark for generations to see,
This site has recently been registered and is now designated as a permanent-historic landmark.
The artist, Todd Arnett as seen in this photo, lives but 5 properties down and he also overlooks the great Lake Ronkonkoma sunrises and sunsets.
Would you please consider donating any amount to this worthy cause? Thank you in advance for your donation and/or sharing our Go Fund Me Story online.
