Firstly, we ask you to pray for Dr. Khaled's safety and his immediate release following his abduction from the Nasser Medical Complex by the occupation forces on March 25, 2024.

With unending courage, Dr. Khaled Alser emerges as a beacon of hope and unwavering commitment as one of the last few doctors remaining at the beseiged Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis. Amidst the chaos of conflict, he has worked and continues to work day and night over 5 unimaginable months at the Nasser Medical Complex. His dedication in the face of danger embodies true resilience despite relentless adversity. He has not been paid at all during this time. His home was destroyed with all he and his family own and yet his dedication to others has remained steadfast, always putting those at need first. Now he is, with a sense of anguish, turning to you to help him to regain some way of supporting his own family.

Despite enduring sieges, threats, and the daily looming spectre of invasion threatening his life, his commitment to his patients, team and community has never wavered. When patients could not get to him, he even risked his own life to go to the homes of those whom he could help. He epitomises the essence of a true hero.
