Support the Kaufman Family
Hello friends, I am putting this go-fund me together to help support the Kaufman family while they conquer some tough roads. As most of you have seen or heard, Debbie Kaufman has been battling some unexpected and hard medical issues over the last week or so. Anyone who knows the Kaufman family, knows that they would be the first people to lend out a helping hand to anyone around them. I firmly believe it is time that some gratitude is reflected back on them, and the community come together to help them in their time of need. If any of you have spent time with loved ones in a hospital setting, you know it's long hours and hard driving back and forth between home and hospital day in and day out. I am asking for funds to help provide some financial back up for the family while they are in and out of the hospital. I would also like to encourage people to provide things like gas cards and gift cards for food. These can be very beneficial and helpful to people who are on the road and living one moment to the next. Debbie is located in downtown Louisville. Some of the local food joints around the area, door dash or grub hub may be helpful with gift cards so that family may have things delivered without having to leave the bedside. You may reach out to me directly if you have gift cards to provide and I will make sure the family receives them.
For those of you who do not know Debbie, or have had the courtesy of meeting her, I will assure you, you are missing out. Debbie was a member of the school system for many years as a teacher at Butler. She did a lot to benefit and uplift the children of this community during her years she served. Debbie is a spit fire and a free spirit with a love for traveling with her husband. Their many adventures together have formed and created countless memories and stories that she loves to share. To know her, is to love her.
I know that times may be hard for some right now, and if you are unable to provide support- please provide prayers and positive thoughts. These can be heard for miles around. Thank you!
