NUHW @ Petaluma Valley Hospital - Hardship Fund
Donation protected
We are the technical and service workers at Petaluma Valley Hospital. Since May, we've been working to negotiate a fair contract that improves our working conditions and patient care at PVH. Unfortunately, PVH and Providence St. Joseph management have proposed cutbacks and takeaways.
To protest management's unfair proposals and unfair labor practices they have committed, we have called for a one day strike on Wednesday November 20th. PVH management responded by illegally locking many of us out who participated in our one-day strike. We fail to see how this keeps with the values of PVH: Compassion, Dignity, Justice, Excellence, and Integrity.
Funds donated to this strike hardship fund will be distributed to to members who face unique and extreme hardship due to PVH management's disappointing and immoral attempts to intimidate us into accepting their cutbacks.
