OUR PURPOSE
Since 2019, the founders of Numbers Foundation had the vision to address the challenges that are affecting the academic performance of mathematics among primary and secondary schools in Tanzania, specifically the city of Arusha.
Mathematics is one of the challenging subjects in our schools because students academically often perform poorly. Currently, there is a general concern about poor examination results of mathematics in our schools by teachers, parents, educational administrators, policymakers, politicians and other stakeholders.
Students lack skills involved in solving mathematics problems, learning mathematics is ineffective, students lack motivation and have a negative attitude concerning the subject. Numbers Foundation sees the general performance of mathematics as a threat to the future development of many professions requiring mathematics especially during this world of science and technology.

Opening these doors for the students can be powerful for them, and we are also supporting the teachers along the way so they can provide excellent teaching and positive reinforcement to the students.
