Nunnally Needs A Knee Brace!

He stands tall and proud even though his legs bend inward. His attitude is always positive though he suffers with pain and constant difficulty in those legs. His spirits are always high simply because that is who he is. But his health insurance nor his wallet can fund the needed brace that could relieve his pain and make walking easier for this dear man.
Many of us know Xavier Nunnally as he has been the Head Custodian at Linkhorn Park Elementary School for many years and also worked for the after-school program, KidzQuest for nearly 17 years. Here he has touched many hearts of both children and staff alike. He is always smiling and carries a can-do attitude even though his legs might be saying “no way”. He will help anyone who asks him, no matter the chore. His “disability” never disables him but it does slow him down.
After his many years of service to his community, it is the hope of this GoFundMe event that we might give back to him.
The brace Mr. Nunnally needs runs about $5,000-7,000 and his health insurance plan will not cover the expense of the brace or the associated doctor’s visits and fittings. Accordingly, we are hoping to raise around $9,000 to cover those costs. After the goal is reached, we will close the GoFundMe request.
If you have had the opportunity to meet or get to know Mr. Nunnally, you know that he has a heart of gold and a kind and gentle spirit. He would never ask for help even though it would make his pain less and walking easier. If you do not know this gentle soul, know that he is much loved by staff and students alike.
