Nurse in dire need financially Cancer diagnosis

I'm writing this on behalf of my dear friend Katie in financial distress. She has been extremely good to many people in her 36+ years of working in Ireland and briefly abroad. She was front-line staff up to and including diagnosis.

She was diagnosed with cancer last year and underwent an operation, which wasn't successful then.

Unfortunately, with all the years she had given in her profession when the chips were down, and she needed support from the public health service she works for here in Ireland, she has been sorely let down financially. Her pay was stopped in error, and she is still trying to get it sorted seven months later. Due to this, Katie has had to stop paying her mortgage for the past year.

All she is asking for is enough to be able to pay her day-to-day bills now and in the future. But, unfortunately, this continuous stress is not suitable for her cancer diagosis, as anyone would know and understand.

She is due to have further surgery soon, but recovery will be slow due to another medical issue. Unfortunately, no other options are available to Katie in the future medically. Radiotherapy for her was not suitable; neither was drug treatment.
