Help Nurse Wilma with surgery.

Growing up Amish in a dysfunctional home led to many struggles and obstacles in my life. I have overcome many through my walk with The Lord. I was limited to an eighth grade education and moved out on my own at 17, received my GED and graduated as a RN.
After working as a RN for one year, the pain in my neck became unmanageble and brought me to tears. My first MRI revealed 5 herniated discs. I have had 3 neck surgeries fixing 4 out of the 5 discs.
I was scheduled to have my last neck surgery in January of this year. Insurance denied to pay for the surgery so it was canceled. I proceeded to follow the appeals process and following all their recommendations: another steroid shot, physical therapy and more narcotics.
I worked with severe pain until February 20, 2015, when the pain in my neck led to vomiting. I sadly stopped working and have tried many conservative measures and still have so much pain that I have to take narcotics to even be up and walking around. It hurts to hold my head up for more than a couple of hours.
Insurance is still denying to pay for my surgery and their plan of care is for me to do pain management. Narcotics will manage the symptoms not fix the problem.
Reluctantly, I have made the decision to proceed with surgery without the help of insurance. It will cost me 18K on May 14, the day of surgery, and will be billed 7K.
I am humbled by my situation and my need to ask for money. If you want to know more about my bio, you can read more on my website dancingonthedumpster.com, I recently self published my book: Dancing on the Dumpster.
I could write all day about how betrayed I feel, but it won't help so I must move on and get my surgery and get back to work. Bills are piling up and I am unable to do even light housework without pain.
I work in health care to take care of others, but when I need care I can't get it. Something seems wrong with this picture.
Bottom line is that I am 40 years old and can't work. I would appreciate your financial support if you are capable of doing so. If your not capable of financial support I ask that you pray for me and my surgeon that it will go as planned.
Thanks for taking time to read my story and I really appreciate your consideration to help me.
