Nursing students bring healthcare relief to Nepal
Donation protected
In April 2024, a group of fifteen University of Tasmania second-year Nursing students will be heading to Nepal for three weeks as part of their Professional Experience Placement.
It will provide students not only with the experience of a lifetime to work in a country with a healthcare system vastly different to that of Australia but the opportunity to give back to local communities around Kathmandu. In conjunction with Beyond Borders, students will be working and gaining invaluable experience in hospitals in Kathmandu but also travelling further out to provide and teach healthcare to communities.
Money raised will allow students to purchase much-needed healthcare items in these areas to provide to communities so that they can enjoy a better quality of healthcare.
Whether you can donate $5 or $50, every little bit counts! We can't wait to get over there!
