Nuru Mugambi Medical Fund Appeal

Diagnosed with Lupus at 32, doctors said she wouldn’t make it to see her 40th birthday. This Thursday (Sep 05th) will mark her 47th and we will continue to give thanks for the blessing of the many years she has shared with her family. Despite the challenges of this chronic ailment, Nuru (who’s name in Arabic means “Light”) excels in her career, and is a phenomenal mother to her 17 year old daughter, Lailah Makena.

On Aug 05th, 2024 Nuru was admitted to The Aga Khan University Hospital in Nairobi Kenya. She has since been receiving treatment for a rare and severe autoimmune disease known as Catastrophic Antiphospholipid Syndrome. Your prayers and support are appreciated as we navigate next steps.
