NUSA 03 Boys go to the National Championship

Congratulations to NUSA’s U19 Boys 03 Maroon team for being the first-ever boys' team in Middle TN to win a Regional Championship and advance to the National Championships!

This is a massive accomplishment and historic achievement, but it also comes with a lot of challenges for a non-profit whose core values are centered around affordability and accessibility and not on making a profit.

 

NUSA’s Mission/Vision/Philosophy ( https://nusasoccer.org/core-values/) from day one has always been to keep the game as affordable and accessible (as much as possible) for all players regardless of socio-economic background. We need your help to get these young men on the U19 team to the National Championships in Orlando, FL!

 

Without help from our membership and the community this event will not be possible.

 

Going to Nationals is very expensive for everyone involved and like many teams throughout the organization, over 50 % of the players on the U19’s team are on financial assistance.

 

We have not yet determined the final costs but expect to pay around $25,000 to cover transportation, hotels, and food expenses for the players and coaches for the week-long event.

Any funds raised that are not needed for the National Championship will go directly to our scholarship fund for the 2022-23 season.
