Nusa's Recovery

Bismillah Al Rahman Al Rahim
Salam and greetings everyone, first and foremost we ask that you keep our sister Nusa (Nisrit) in your prayers. On monday July 22, 2019 while crossing the street, 21 year old Nusa was struck by an alleged stolen car during a high speed police chase ( there is still an open police investigation https://www.nj.com/hudson/2019/07/2-were-fleeing-police-when-vehicle-struck-woman-in-jersey-city-authorities-say.html). She remains unconscious since the accident and in critical condition. The extent of the brain damage will remain unknown until she gains consciousness. However, doctors have advised us that she has suffered a serious brain injury to which there is no surgical cure or medication and at this time all we can do is remain patient and continue praying for her.
If and when she wakes up (god willing) she will require long term care in a rehabilitation facility and at the very least she will need, physical, mental and speech therapy. Until then she remains on breathing and feeding tubes in the ICU while we wait for her to regain consciousness. We ask that you donate whatever you can to help with Nusa's hospital expenses, specialists, rehabilitation, and transportation for her family to and from the hospital as well as legal fees.
Nusa is not just my cousin, she is also my best friend and my sister. The funds raised would go a long way in lifting some of the financial burden off of her family who are already going through so much. It is devastating that during times like these her mother has to worry about bills, but unfortunately Nusa is currently uninsured and we are all running around Jersey City filing the proper paperwork and applying for all these different types of insurance for her. With your charitable donations you can all help in ensuring that Nusa gets the care that she deserves. Her mother, Zeinab, has been made the beneficiary so that she may access the funds. Of course there is no better person than her mother to determine the best use for the fundraised funds and to do what is in the best interest of Nusa and her family, who will be by her side throughout this recovery journey. This beautiful young and vibrant soul has a long road ahead of her and your kindness and prayers are much appreciated.
