Nusbaum Girls (Kaileigh and Mallorie)

Hi, my name is Kelly, and I am fundraising for my co-worker/friend's family (Her two daughters, Kaileigh and Mallorie).

Last Wednesday, Erin and her husband, Andy, received the call no parent wants to get...their high school girls had been the victims of a head-on car accident. Kaileigh and Mallorie, along with their cousin, were involved in a very serious collision that sent all three of them to the hospital. Kaileigh suffered contusions on her lung, a crushed right foot, and multiple bruises and burns. Kaileigh will need multiple surgeries over her lifetime to help correct the severity of the break and help reconstruct her foot. Mallorie suffered two broken hips, a broken ankle, a broken foot, and many bruises. Mallorie also had lacerations across her mid-section, and a deep puncture wound to her hip resulting in surgery to close the wound. Mallorie is bound to a wheelchair for now, and Kaileigh requires the use of a walker. Erin and her husband are fortunate enough that their girls are now home recovering after several days in the hospital.

Now that the girls are home and recuperating from this horrific accident, people are asking how they can help. The girls have a difficult recovery road ahead of them, and we feel that at this time, monetary donations would be the best gift to assist them over the long haul. All proceeds will go directly to the girls so they can purchase things that will aid in their comfort during the recovery process.

To our amazing family who has helped with hospital stays, food runs, household chores, and taking care of the girl's younger siblings, we thank you for your love and support.
