Help the King Family!

Hi, this page has been set up to help raise funds for Brenda & Brian King and their three sons (Isaac - college Sophomore, Owen - high school senior and Aidan - high school freshman). Many of you know that Brian was diagnosed with GBM (Glioblastoma Multiforme) in May 2021. This is a very aggressive form of brain cancer that has no cure. He recently completed another round of radiation and while it helped shrink the tumor it was targeting, there is new growth as well. Brian's symptoms have not improved and the doctor has told them that they have done everything they can and that they now need to focus on quality of life. Brian will continue to receive the Avastin infusions to try to control the swelling in his brain and control the symptoms as much as possible, but he will not receive any other type of treatments.

Brian requires full-time care and Brenda has been fortunate to have been able to use paid leave from her job to stay home to take care of him, but her paid leave ended this past week. The funds raised here will allow Brenda to be able to continue spending this time with Brian now that her paid leave has run out.

Brenda & Brian have given so much to their community, from Brian coaching basketball & baseball teams and being a Scoutmaster, to Brenda leading Student of the Year Campaigns for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society; it is now our time to give back to them.
