Kevin & Jennifer Boltz are a loving family with 2 kids, Braeden, 8 and Tenley, 6 plus 2 dogs living in Thornton, CO.
They took their family on vacation to the island of St. Maarten and ended up falling in love ❤️ with one of the homeless island dogs. They weren’t planning on taking home a dog from their trip, but felt an instant connection. They encountered many obstacles with one being she had a puppy. They couldn’t bring themselves to separate the two, so they decided to take them both. Kevin had to make another trip to the island to go get the dogs and fly them back home.
Fast forward to not quite a month later,
Much to their surprise, Kevin and Jennifer were going to be Grandparents. Their new dog, Coconut, was pregnant! They noticed she had put on weight before their trip to Ireland, but just chalked it up to the fact that she went from homeless and starving, to the lap of luxury and was now fat and happy. They got back from their trip and....WOWZA that's a big belly. Sure enough....there were puppies in there!!! Then 5 days later Coconut had 10 puppies!! The puppies all did great! The Boltz family has quite the feat trying to care for each puppy and making sure they are all fed, cared and accounted for! With not being breeders nor planning on having puppies born so soon, it’s a huge task to care for so many!
If bringing home 2 rescue dogs from the Islands, & having 10 puppies wasn’t enough, about 6 days later, they realized their second rescue dog, Maisie, was indeed PREGNANT too!
She ended up having 7 puppies! So within a weeks time the Boltz family was caring for 17 puppies!
I would LOVE to show this family that no good deed goes unnoticed. They decided to adopt 2 homeless pups from an island and caring for 17 puppies besides was truly unexpected. They are such a loving and unselfish family. The cost of caring for these puppies and making sure they have everything they need, including vet visits, shots, & all the expenses to care for these little pups adds up! Let’s help make this new journey for their family a little bit easier! And be sure to follow their pups adventures on their Facebook page!
