Help Save My Dad’s Best Friend
Donation protected
As you may or may not know, my Dad has recently been extremely poorly. After his loss last year too, there’s one thing that’s been helping him through this scary and difficult time, and that’s his beautiful dog Lola. However, a week ago, even more bad news arrived when Lola, after seeming to slow down for weeks, had a seizure and had to be rushed into the vets. Lola has fluid in her brain and requires a shunt to be fit to drain it as well as lots of medication, a procedure which is extremely expensive especially at a time when my dad is trying to move house to get closer to his family in his time of poor health, as he currently lives a 5 hour drive away in Cornwall. My dad doesn’t know about this fundraiser, he’s a proud man who, when I suggested this to him, said he didn’t want to beg for money from anyone. But he’s my hero and when he’s already suffering with such an awful disease, I don’t want him to lose his little baby doggy who means the world to him and helped him through the death of a loved one and his ill health too. She’s like another daughter to him. The procedure can cost upwards of £1500, I have managed to find £900 myself to put towards it but I’m still £800 short. If there’s anything that anyone can do to help, please let me know. Thank you for your help, and I know my dad will be so grateful too.
