Elijah Bean's Emergency Medical Expense Fund
Donation protected
Eli the Poodle - a tiny bean and lover of humans and hikes - woke up unwell on June 29th. He lost his appetite and started shaking and vomiting every few minutes. As Eli became increasingly lethargic, Julia, his mom took him in for an emergency vet appointment. X-rays showed something in his digestive tract, and he quickly underwent surgery. Unfortunately, surgery was ineffective, and poodle beans has been in and out of the animal hospital to continue receiving IV fluids and pain medication with the hope that he will be able to pass the obstruction naturally. Please send Elijah Bean good vibes through this challenging journey to recovery.
Eli’s human, my 20-year-old sister Julia, is a hardworking, compassionate, and devoted dog mom. She and Eli have been bonded since Julia’s 15th birthday, when she got him as a puppy. Julia recently graduated from college and has not yet started working professionally. This experience has saddled her with thousands of dollars in vet bills. Times like these are undoubtedly the hardest part of pet ownership, yet we never waiver in doing whatever it takes for our furry best friends. Julia is no exception. Please donate to support Julia financially, so she can focus all her attention on being there for Eli in this trying moment. They look forward to having many more years of fun and adventures together!
