Help with funeral costs and expenses

With a heavy broken heart, I have to say that my dear beloved mom has passed. This was all sudden and unexpected. I spoke to her on the phone Tuesday July 4th and her best friend also visited her leaving her in the late afternoon. In the morning on the 6th when best friend returned to see her, she was found on the floor passed away. I was contacted immediately and my partner and I were on the first plane that evening (from Vegas) to NY and arrived Friday morning going straight to the surrogate court to file for access to the apt in order to feed mom’s (our) cat and to find necessary paperwork needed to get administrative status to be able to enter the apt fully unescorted by the police and to be able to pack and clear apt. Unfortunately, there is no life insurance policy, and very little financial support in mom’s name. In order to get all paperwork done and to proceed further, all funeral costs must be paid in full prior to going to the courts again and filing. While we have some of the costs covered, we do not have all of it. Any donation of any size would greatly help us in taking care of everything that is needed in order to bring mom back home to/with us, our cat and belongings to Vegas.
