UWC (ex) students for Manuel Fernandez

We represent a group of UWC ex students, friends of Ximena and Manuel Fernandez and their fantastic family.

For so many of us, Manuel and Ximena were, are and will always be iconic images of our ideas about the College, of who we were at the time, of the unique human relations that were born there and how those relations have grown stronger over time: a powerful model of human affinity, friendship, and conviction about these values.

This fundraising proposal is intended as a way of being near Ximena and the Fernández family at this saddest of moments as a token of gratitude for all the splendid colours of feelings that were granted, differently, to each of us, along these years.

At this stage of our initiative, we hope to collect funds to support the family and refund the expenses that they have undergone to help them go back to ordinary life.

This is not meant as a farewell to Manuel but, rather, to welcome a different way of letting him live on in each of our gifts of appreciation to those who contributed so lovingly, selflessly and deeply to our development.

We´d like to call on you all to join us in this initiative.

All donations will go directly to Ximena bank account.
