Kelly Phillips

My name is Greg Johnson. I am fundraising for Kelly Phillips. Kelly, originally from Wisconsin was living in New Jersey when he was diagnosed with cancer and given 3 months to live. Kelly decided to spend his last days on a house boat, floating down the Mississippi River.

Kelly spent 2 and a half years on the house boat, and thankfully is still with us today. Today he lives in Slidell, La in a tent in a location that will remain undisclosed due to safety reasons.

Kelly lost everything he had when he got sick and has remained down on his luck. Even so, he remains with a positive attitude and outlook on life.

Kelly was attacked recently in his tent - several times, the perpetrator was later found and arrested. After this incident, Kelly fell ill again and while in the hospital, someone stole his belongings. Lost was two bicycles, his tent and other personal items.

Kelly is hoping to be able to get a motorized or electric bicycle to help him get around since he cannot peddle a regular bicycle.
