Help Bring Lisa Home

Hi, My name is Darlene, and I'm fundraising for my baby sister Lisa Seebo. I am raising funds to be able to provide her with a care giver and physical therapist that can assist her in the recovery she needs. In February 2022, my sister fell ill with septic from a tear in her large intestines and fell ill to covid 19 at the same time; She was very sick. Immediately upon arrival at the hospital, she was put on a ventilator. Unable to breathe on her own after four weeks, the doctors had no choice but to do a tracheostomy. The covid and septic have left her heart unstable, and she has not gone more than 48 hrs before having to have the ventilator back in to help her breathe. Due to her weak heart, she has not been able to receive any physical therapy and has lost All physical function from her neck down. She can only move her eyes and head. Unable to feed herself and has a feeding tube inserted. At times she has lost the will to fight.

I would like to have my sister home where she has the love and support of her husband and three boys to help her recover. Her Husband has been a gift from god with all that has been placed on his shoulders. He works long hours throughout the week and makes it to the hospital every night after work, not getting much sleep himself, and with all the stress and worries about my sister's health, he still finds time to call my parents every night to give them an update and support. My sister lives in Texas, my parents and I are in AZ and myself in California. My parents are older and too ill to travel. They are afraid they will never see their youngest child again before they pass.

I am seeking donors to help my sister come home and receive the care she needs by providing her with a qualified caregiver and physical therapist to help her recover from this illness. I believe getting the care she needs from home will give her more strength and the will to fight to overcome and deal with the disabilities she will be left with and be grateful she is alive.

The funds my parents and I seek will go to her recovery needing a qualified daytime caregiver and physical therapist, equipment, supplies needed, and any treatments she might have to go through. Any remaining funds will help with the medical bills they will be left with.
