Pianist Noah Umamoto is a concert artist on the Monterey Peninsula, and has recently been gaining national attention as one of the leading undergraduate pianists in the United States. As a local Monterey Peninsula musician he began his studies with Ladine Galimba and Lyn Bronson. He went on to advanced study with pianist James Neiman, under whose direction he has participated in numerous master classes with internationally acclaimed artists, given solo recital and concerto solo appearances, and successfully passed auditions for entry to the Chicago College for the Performing Arts.

Mr. Umamoto's next major step in his professional journey is to complete his studies at the world renowned Chicago College for the Performing Arts at Roosevelt University in Chicago, beginning in the Fall of 2024.

He was awarded the university's maximum financial scholarships on both merit and need, yet will still bear a substantial financial burden in order to complete the necessary studies to launch his career. Anything you can do to help, especially on an ongoing basis, will be of immense help in this young man's life, and will make a difference to the thousands of lives he will impact in his promising future. It is estimated that he will need to raise $60,000 over the next 3 years. With your belief in this young man, and your help, this goal is within reach.
