NY Jazz Education for Matthew!!!!!!

Hello from the Vasquez Family!!!

We are extremely proud of the talents and accomplishmnets of all of our children, but this year MATTHEW has been on a roll earning awards and recognition and scholarships for his love of Jazz Music and the Trombone! Not only was he awarded lots of academic recognition for his hard work but he was also THE LEAD TROMBONIST in the California All State Music Educator Conference in the Junior High School Jazz Band!

Now he is moving on to high school and has many other opportunities to share his love and talents with others and continue his education. Matthew spends hours each day praticing and studying jazz music. It is his love and passion and we believe in his ability and we want to support him.

Recently MATTHEW auditioned for a presigious jazz camp and he was awarded a $500 camp scholarship to the Summer Jazz Workshop at Fordham University Lincoln Center in New York City from July 17-22, 2023. In NY he will be working with the very top professionals and educators in jazz education.

Your opportinity to help support Matthew will be a blessing to our family. Matthew's scholarship does not include all tuition, travel, room and board or other expenses. We estimate that Matthews total need will be about $3000. We are doing our best to support others and our children in what is true, noble, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent and praiseworthy! We believe that Matthew's pursuit of his passion for jazz music is worthy of supporting him and asking for others to partner with us.
