On the 24th May 2025, I will be doing the Three Peak Challenge, where I will be climbing Ben Nevis, Scaffel Pike and Snowdon, all in 24 hours(including travel time). I wanted to challenge myself in 2025 and I thought this challenge would be a good way to raise some money for the charity that we got my Rudy from. Project Galgo is a charity that helps save the lives of Galgo's(Spanish Greyhounds), Podencos and other sighthounds in Spain, that are used for the soul purpose of hunting and are killed, beaten or given up to shelters at the end of the hunting season. Project Galgo aim to rehome as many of the dogs as possible and Rudy was one of them. He travelled from Marbella to Gosport by car and boat and is now living his best life. It costs a lot of money to ensure that these dogs are getting the best vet care out in Spain before they come over seas and then the transport to their forever homes so by raising even a little bit of money, it would make a massive difference to these dogs lives.
