Walter Harris

As I create this post in loving memory of my brother as many of you, I am still in total shock and disbelief. I always pictured Walter as invincible! Recovering from sports injuries, surgeries or just a common ailment nothing would be different this time for big Walt!

The epitome of a stand up person who never met a stranger. He prided himself on the basic values of life “treat others how you want to be treated.”

How do you sum up a person who is bigger than life? The infectious laugh, the crazy sense of humor, the drive, the commitment to being a great friend and unwavering love and dedication to his children!

Walter lived for the well being of his kids. He ensured that they had a well rounded upbringing but drove home the message of hard work and kindness! Many have asked how can we help? The best way to continue his legacy is through his children. All that he worked and lived for was to make sure family and friends were good. This is the time to step up for Walter as he has done for all of us on many occasions. My solace is him knowing they are “good!!”
