Help the Nyansakia Church in Kenya
Donation protected
I am Steve Ashley, and I have been working with Richard Motari, a Pastor in Kenya. I've been helping and praying for his ministry in Kenya, Africa, and helping him find resources to help God's kingdom. We are not a non-profit organization yet but we are looking into this process. If you can help financially or in prayer, that would be great. If you have any questions, please email me.
RICHARD'S STORY
Nyansakia mission Church was started five years ago after a revelation by God through servant Pastor Richard Motari through a Vision. It started in a tiny room with five members who were filled with the taste of the word of God through a revelation God gave Richard.
HOW IT GREW
"As the five members were meeting in my room. The message of the good news spread to the surrounding people, and more people were touched by the message. The numbers swelled to 15. Our room was small, and an idea came to move to the nearby open place under the shade of trees, where we have carried our worship of the Lord for quite some time longer."
MEMBERS
The Church has 32 members.
PROGRESS
As the Church started as a tiny dot in a house, it has made some recognized progress:
A. Managed to have more Bibles; now we have ten.
B. Managed to have benches, a few chairs, and a table, an improvement from none! Other than sitting on the ground.
C. I have a project of caring and showing love to needy children.
E. The Church members have increased from five to 32 members, an upbeat show that God has a reason and purpose for the future of the Church and its members.
CHALLENGES
Despite the excellent sign being shown by the above progress of the Church, it has notable challenges, such as:
The rapid increase of members has stretched the available facilities hence a need to have:
- Big–Church construction
- Sanitary facilities like toilets
- Enough spiritual materials, e.g., Bibles
- Enough furniture
- Orphanage for the many needy orphans
- Provide orphans with basic needs, e.g., food, education, clothing, and shelter. (House)
VISION
To preach God's word and show love to the needy in society.
MISSION
To care spiritually and physically.
BOARD MEMBERS
The Church comprises five board members who oversee the day-to-day activities.
PRAYER REQUEST
The Church, as passed by the recommendations of the board, is their prayer request to:
- Have a big church constructed
- Have furniture bought
- Have toilets build
- Have food for the orphans
- Have a special place for orphans to call home
- Have enough variety of Spiritual materials
- Have a public address system for the Church, e.g., a Piano for praise and worship.
As much as we face the above challenges and physical needs, our primary concern as a church is to seek the kingdom of God first, and all others will be provided in full.
I pray that God is good and has all reason and purpose for this occasion.
Amen
